Tournament Information
Western Cup XL runs March 28–31, 2024.
The Western Cup XL Hockey tournament is hosted by the Calgary Inclusive Hockey Association and will run over two (2) days, potentially three (3), pending interest and availability: Friday, March 29 until Sunday, March 31.
This tournament, and all Western Cup XL events, is hosted by members and allies of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and is a safe space for all people. There is zero tolerance for discrimination.
Tournament Structure
There will be a guaranteed four (4) games per team in the Western Cup XL Hockey tournament. More information about the format will be communicated to players once we hear back about ice times. Please direct any questions you have to the hockey coordinators below.
Registration Information
Once payment is confirmed, you will be officially registered for the tournament.
The One Night in Monaco social event is included free of charge for everyone.
Tickets for Dance XL and Drag Brunch XL may be purchased separately on the Western Cup XL Events page.

Entry is free of charge.
Hockey players: your Registration Kickoff Mixer will be held at Village Brewery. A free Party Bus shuttle will pick you up at the Hyatt Regency Calgary at 6:15 PM on Thursday, March 28 and bring you to the event. Please refer to the communications you received from your hockey organizer team for more info...and enjoy! We'll see you soon!
