The pickleball tournament at Western Cup will not take place this year
CALGARY, ALBERTA—Apollo Pickleball, the organization that runs the pickleball tournament in Western Cup, regretfully informs the community that due to rising costs and limitations on the availability of personnel, we are not able to offer a pickleball tournament at Western Cup 42 this April.
Since its debut at Western Cup XL two years ago, pickleball has been a popular sport in the Western Cup community. The Apollo board will continue planning with the goal of returning pickleball to the lineup in the upcoming year.
Apollo thanks the pickleball community for their understanding, patience, and continued support.
Todd Frisch, Pickleball Tournament Director, will continue to reply to inquiries. Todd can be reached at apollopickleball@gmail.com.
